I could participate without the camera. I could just take my own pics with my camera and send them in, if that still qualifies? That way, nobody would have to worry about sending me a camera and getting it returned.
I'm in though, although I am sure my pictures would not be as exciting as some of the really creative people here.

Seriously, I'd guess that most people have responded (if anyone still wants in, let me know) So I will be contacting a few to get your location, and then work out a tentative route.
The camera is nearly ready to go. I discovered a problem with the lens that I'd forgotten about, so swapped it with a good one. I just need to do a couple of tests to get it perfect. This should only take a few days (if it will stop raining [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img] )

It's a fantastic idea. [img]smile.gif[/img] . I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to send my own camera on a trip like this though. I'd miss it too much. If you're actually willing to trust me with yours, I'd love to play.
yeah, but I'm betting you have only the one camera. Dan, on the other hand, has only one WALL of cameras. [img]wink.gif[/img]
Besides which, the old ones, like what he's sending out, are more mechanical then electronic, and so, generally easier to fix. With the exception of certain parts that can't be bought or made anymore, of course...
